Challenge Octave

From June 11 to 17, 2023, Transpyr is organizing the new Coast to Coast crossing of the Pyrenees by Deporvillage.

On the program: 7 stages from St-Jean-de-Luz (FR) to Roses (ES), 1,000kms and 20,000m d+.

The icing on the cake: timing on 4 legendary mountain passes

As a partner of the Transpyr, Octave offers you an extra challenge: the timed ascent of a mythical mountain pass present on each of the first 4 stages of the route.

Practical information

Timing

Entry to the time trial sector will be non-stop, as you pass the start point, so this is not an individual time trial sector. The finish will also be launched.

Course

The timed course will remain open to traffic and other road users, with the organizers restricting themselves to giving right of way where necessary.

Regulations

Participants are free to adopt whatever tactics and strategies they see fit throughout the timed sector.

To appear in the CHALLENGE OCTAVE rankings, participants must have completed all four stages of the event.
