Round Table: the links between outdoor sports and the preservation of flora in rocky environments
The National Botanical Conservatory of the Pyrenees and Midi-Pyrénées and the Maison Octave are pleased to invite you, Thursday, November 14 at 8 p.m., to the Round Table “The Cycle of Flowers”.
As part of the Rocanature program, we will reflect together on the impacts and the connection between outdoor sports and the preservation of nature and flora in rocky environments.
The speakers
This round table will bring together 5 stakeholders from our region, offering shared perspectives on the relationship between cycling and the preservation of our plant heritage:
• Chloé Fourmigué-Villacampa, Professional cyclist
• Edith Lafon, recreational mountain biker and President of the Canyon CDSC 65 pole
• Patrice Borderes, co-founder of “Bike&Py” and former president of Lourdes VTT
• Maxime Delamarre, mountain bike guide instructor
• Rémi Laffont, founder of “Chez Octave” and former professional mountain biker
Christelle Pineau, ethnologist and Nadine Sauter, ecologist at the Botanical Conservatory, will lead the discussions.
