Chez Octave is setting up at the top of the Tourmalet: opening of a second Octave house
On October 19, the Giant left his summer belvedere at the top of the Tourmalet and went back down into the valley. To celebrate the end of the mountain pass season, Chez Octave invited his friends to take part in a festive day: the ascent of the pass followed by the party at the house in the evening. It was in this context that the participants were informed of the takeover of the Restaurant du Col du Tourmalet, which will become a new Octave house.
An inauguration under the sign of sharing
On Saturday 19, many of you took part with us in the Giant Descent day. The weather rewarded you because the ascent took place in superb conditions!
At the summit, you were able to discover our new Octave house: the Restaurant du Col du Tourmalet. In this historic place, we will bring our identity and our know-how.
Cyclists will thus find the hospitality and services offered by the Octave team in its first store: café, refreshment and bike workshop. The usual passing customers will not be forgotten and will always be welcomed warmly, for a refreshment or a good Pyrenean moment.
Thank you all for coming and supporting all our projects! 🙏
The Restaurant du col du Tourmalet welcomes you until November 3
The Restaurant du col du Tourmalet welcomes you until November 3
Until the end of the All Saints’ Day holidays, we remain open at the pass. Enjoy the beautiful autumn days to come and enjoy a delicious blueberry pancake with hot chocolate. ☕
We will then close the restaurant doors to carry out some work. In the meantime, you can always find us in Bagnères.
See you soon!
